Tips for Introducing a New Cat to Your Home
Prepare a Small Space: Set up a small, quiet room for your new cat. This space should include:
A litter box
Food and water bowls
A cozy bed or blanket
Familiar Items: If possible, bring home items that are familiar to your cat from the shelter or rescue, such as:
A blanket or towel they used
A favorite toy
