Today, we’re shining a light on one of the incredible individuals behind Anna’s Pet Care Fund — Crystal Thomas!
Crystal and her husband, Dr. Mike Thomas, own Noah's Animal Hospitals. They founded Anna’s Pet Care Fund to honor Dr. Thomas’ mother, Anna Thomas, and her compassionate spirit.
Crystal’s journey with animals started in her childhood, earning her the nickname “Elly May” for her undeniable love and connection to pets. Growing up in a low-income family, she experienced firsthand the struggles of accessing veterinary care. Those early experiences ignited her passion to make veterinary care accessible to families in need.
With over 27 years in the veterinary field and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology, Crystal has dedicated her life to supporting animals and their families. Her mission? To ensure that no pet owner has to make heartbreaking decisions simply because of finances.
Crystal’s enthusiasm for giving back to the community and strengthening the human-animal bond is truly inspiring. At home, she’s surrounded by her loving family — including three dogs and a “granddoggy” — and she continues to inspire others through her work with Anna’s Pet Care Fund.
