What is a 'Pet Refuge' and how does it help homeless pets?

On the latest “Pet Pals TV,” Pet Pals reporter Renee Jameson fills in for Patty to share how pets get a second chance through rescues.

Learn about a church that was transformed into a cat sanctuary, called Midwest Pet Refuge. The rescue spays, neuters, vaccinates, and even microchips their pets. To help raise funds for the animals, Midwest Pet Refuge accepts donations that they then sell in a “mini bookstore.” All of the money goes back to the shelter.
